Dave is Minister of Traditional Music at Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, FL. He has served in this position for 18 years. He has a wide and varied background in the field of sacred music. Dave grew up in a very musical family and was Minister of Music at the early age of 14. He majored in organ and voice at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. He then joined the Allen Organ Co. as field rep and clinician where he gave seminars for church organists and musicians across the country as well as giving dedicatory recitals.
Besides his work at the church, Dave has 36 piano students. He also composes and arranges for the students. Several of his sacred works have been sent to a publisher and should be in publication soon.
He has three children who are all married and has five grandsons. Besides his music, Dave loves to travel around the world and has become interested in photography.
